Open to Girls and Boys

Mount Eliza Soccer Club’s Academy is set up to provide Girls and Boys in Community Soccer/Football with an opportunity to fast track their skills and knowledge of the game, giving them the best possible chance of success in whatever direction they want to take their game.

The Club’s Academy has two dedicated and equal parts…

All Boys Academy for Under 9’s to under 16’s

All Girls Academy for Under 10’s to Under 16’s

Each Academy training age grouping will be composed of approximately 12-16 spots. This is to be made up from the A Grade/Kangaroos teams plus selected players showing potential in their development from other teams at the club.

The Academy program is designed and overseen by the clubs Technical Director who has over 20 years’ experience delivering high level junior training to Community, NPL and Regional players.

Academy players will receive the following.

• In addition to one night of training with their regular coach, Academy players enter 20 weeks/sessions of specialized training from mid/late Feb until October. These sessions are run by our Technical Director and or experienced coaching team (a minimum of C Licensed Coach).
  • Sessions run during School Terms
• Academy players will receive an additional exclusive Academy Uniform/Kit.
• Optional Matches/Events both before, during and after the season.
• Nominations to play in higher age groups or grades as the needs arise.

Academy expectations from players

• Be on time for training (10 Min before session starts).
• Be prepared for training & come with a positive attitude.
• Be respectful and be willing to learn, support your peers and listen to instruction.
• Show respect for club property, coaches and other players.
• Minimum of 85% attendance rate

Additional Academy Fees

Minimal cost to cover Uniform and Coaching Fees, please note Academy fees are over and above standard club registration fees.

The Mount Eliza Soccer Club Academy is not a separate business and is wholly and entirely part of the Mount Eliza Soccer Club.
