Schnitz Mornington has partnered with our club seeking to form a long-term partnership. The restaurant is owned and operated by Mornington Peninsula locals Martin and Marusca Catania. (M & M). They have been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and love what they do. They have recently become first time proud grandparents to Raphael whose parents are Mt Martha locals. They all love living on the peninsula and want to give back to the local community in any way they can.
Recently Schnitz Mornington started a local legends sporting fund designed to help local families and sporting clubs through tough times so everyone can continue to play the sports they love. They donate $1 from every schnitzel and chips sold at Schnitz Mornington into the fund. Every month clubs are encouraged to nominate a family or player or even their own club for assistance in some way or another. M & M then select one or more nominations and provide them with financial assistance from the fund to purchase sporting gear, equipment or even medical treatment. They hope to expand the fund to assist local schools as well.
Schnitz Mornington is open from 11am till late every day and located at 7 Main Street, beautifully decorated seating over eighty inside and out with ample parking at the rear off Van Couver Street. They serve hand crafted chicken, beef or vegetarian schnitzels served as a plated meal, parma's, loaded parma's, salads or in a burger or wrap. They also serve schnuggets and their world famous award winning chips and loaded chips! Current promotion is a schnitzel and chips for $10 – Available Monday to Wednesday.
