We are excited to announce Assessment/Trial dates for our 2025 Highest Level Teams. 

Mount Eliza Soccer Club prides itself on providing a proven pathway with its development of talented community players.  With accredited coaches, we see the importance in providing our juniors with the best opportunity to develop as a player and build character. We will support all players in their ambitions to go on and play at the highest level they can and fulfil their potential.

For those wanting to remain past under 14 in Community Football, Mount Eliza now provides a pathway to senior football with both a men’s and women’s senior teams.
 
The club is committed to providing a structured training program for all our girls, one that is of the highest standard and has the same offerings and our boys program. As one of the largest female clubs in Victoria, we want to build on the success of our 2024 Girls teams. Our Girls are offered the same Academy Program as the boys from under 10 through to under 14. The girl’s U/15 to 17 will not be forgotten as they will be offered an opportunity to participate in our MESC Development Programs. 

Kangaroos/A Grade teams/Highest Level Aged Group Teams

All players will be assessed by qualified and experienced coaches alongside Age Group Head Coaches. Successful trialists will be offered a position in their respective team.

Boys under 9-14
Girls Under 10-14

Academy squads will train an additional one night a week, for 20 weeks with our specialist Coaches lead by Gary Talbot.
With over 20 years’ experience with junior players, Gary has coached junior players at the highest level, including roles as Technical Director at NPL club Springvale White Eagles, Football Director with Langwarrin Pre NPL, Southern Zone Skill Acquisition Squads, FV TIDC and two recent international trips with touring teams to Japan. 

Gary is supported by C licenced and experianced coaches to help deliver the clubs training program across the age Academy age groups.

Grading/Assessment details...

• Players will need to sign in 30 minutes before their allocated session. 
• On the day of the trials please ensure your child has shin guards, water and sunscreen.
• Trials will be held at Mount Eliza Secondary College Soccer grounds unless indicated.

Girls Trials/Assessments

We'll be holding soccer trials and assessments alongside our Girls Open day.  To be considered for higher-level teams please complete the EOI below, alternately just show up on the day if you're keen to play soccer and have some fun.

Sunday 16th of February 

Girls  Under 9-12s   10.00am 
Girls  Under 13's      11.00am   
Girls  Under 15-16    11.00am  
Girls  Under 17 -18   12.00pm 

Note: Under 14 Girls Trials/Assessments took place in November 2024 however Under 14 Girls are encouraged to attend our Girls Open day and if they wish register for Under 15 assessments. 

The following age groups will be training sessions not grading sessions run by  Graeme Ferguson Youth Development Coach.

Boys Under  16s       6 pm Tuesday 11th February
Boys Under  17/18's   7 pm Thursday 13th February
