Hiring a Referee or Assistant Referee at Mount Eliza Soccer Club

Some teams in the season struggle to find a referee or assistant referees from their parent group and that parent group will wish to hire from the older age playing group at the club on an ad hoc basis.

NOTE:

It is not always possible to hire from the older playing group and best practice is have parents in your team available to Ref/Assistant Ref.

All teams under 7-11 need to supply a Ref for Home games.

All teams Under 12 and up need to supply 1 Assistant Referee at Home and away games.

Under 12 and up it is also best practice is to have a Backup Ref (Parent) just in case Football Victoria do not supply a Ref (FV send the club a list on Fridays of any games that will not have a Ref supplied, the club then advises the Team Manager and Coach)

TM’s note the chance of hiring an Assistant Referee when you are playing away is unlikely.

If you wish to hire a Referee or Assistant Referee from the playing group the below Minimum rates are advised.

Under 7-9's

 $15 Min Per Game (Paid by the Parents of the Team who need the Referee)

Under 10 -11's

 $20 Min Per Game (Paid by the Parents of the Team who need the Referee)

Under 12+ Referee
(Referee Match Fee as supplied by the club)

Under 12 – 15’s                $45
Under 16’s                       $50
Under 17-21’s                  $75

Under 12 and up, the club will reimburse any payment made to a club player who referees a game due to no Football Victoria Referee attending.

**Note** Under 12 and up should be supplied a Referee from Football Victoria.  If Football Victoria cannot supply the referee, you will be advised by the club Friday Afternoon. Under 12 and up, Please do not book a Referee unless you have been advised there will be no Football Victoria Referee for your game.

Min for Assistant Referee (Paid by the Parents of the Team who need the Assistant Referee)
Under 12-14's = $20
Under 15-21's = $30
